About Artist
Hacıoğlu Pazarcığı âyânından bir zâtın oğlu olan Sufûd Ahmed Ağa, eğitim için gittiği İstanbul’da hüsn-i hatta heves ile Kebecizâde Mehmed Vasfî Efendi’den sülüs ve nesih meşkederek, icâzetine nâil oldu. H. 1255/M. 1839 senesinde yazdığı mushâf-ı şerîfi görülen hattatın daha sonra beldesine döndüğü ve orada vefât ettiği menkûl ise de, tarihi belli değildir.
