Born in 1978 in Cairo, Mona Saleh is
a graduate of Ain Shams University,
Department of Sociology. She took
calligraphy lessons from Belaid Hamidi
at the Al-Halaqa Foundation for Heritage
Revival in Cairo, and received certificates
in riqa, diwani, jaly diwani, taliq and
maghrebi. She gave calligraphy certificates
to two students, two Thai and one Chinese.
She teaches calligraphy courses in the
mentioned foundation.
