Born in 1967 in Iran, Shahbazi attended
calligraphy courses at the Iranian
Calligraphers Association. He studied
calligraphy with Gholam Hossein
Amirkhani, Abbas Akhavain and
Muhammad Ihsayi. Shahbazi participated
in a number of local and international
exhibitions and opened a solo exhibition in
Tehran. He won many awards in numerous
competitions. He teaches calligraphy in
the Iranian Calligraphers Association
and serves as a jury member in national
competitions.
