Edirneli olup hem-şehrisi Şüğlî Ahmed Dede’den sülüs ve nesih meşkederek icâzet almıştır. Beldesinde hattatlıkla iştigâl etmekte iken vefât etmişse de, tarihi ma’lûm değildir. Tuhfe-i Hattâtîn mü’ellifinin beyânına nazarân iki Kur‘ân-ı Kerim ile birer Buhârî-i Şerîf ve Delâ’ilü’l-hayrât kaleme almışsa da, nüshalarına tesadüf edilememiştir.

Müstakimzâde Süleyman Sâdeddin, Tuhfe-i Hattatin
Edirne’de Kettânîzâde’dir. On beş yaşında iken birâder-i mihteri Mehmed Efendi ile ma’an Şüglî Ahmed Dede’den hüsn-i hatt-ı sülüs ü neshte ba’de’t-temeşşuk zeyl-i icazetlerine ta’alluk eylemişti. İki mushaf ve bir Buharî ve Delâ’il yazmıştır.
