About Artist

She was born in 1976 in Germany. She started studying in Germany and continued her education in Istanbul. In 1994, she graduated from Üsküdar İmam Hatip High School. In 1995, she began to take illumination courses from Necati Sancaktutan. She completed her education in 2000.She has participated in exhibitions in Turkey and abroad and has works in private collections, museums and published books. In UAE, in 2008, 2009 and 2015, she won awards at the international illumination competition held by the Ministry of Culture of Abu Dhabi. She has made the practice of decorating for Prestige Quran published by Religious Foundation of Turkey published in 2012. She has conducted practical workshops abroad. She is still continuing her thesis studies and at the same time transferring her knowledge to her students.
