About Artist

Cevad Huran was born in Iran in 1977.
He worked under the supervision of
Hakem Ghannam in Iran between
1998-2002. He moved to Istanbul
to practice calligraphy under the
supervision of Mehmed Özçay from
whom he obtained a certificate in
thuluth in 2005 at a ceremony held at
IRCICA headquarters in Istanbul. He
received numerous awards in local
and international competitions. Cevad
Huran continues to work in Istanbul.
