About Artist
Born in 1969 in Anbar, Ammar al-Zabidi is
a graduate of the Institute and Academy
of Fine Arts in Baghdad, Department of
Calligraphy and Decoration. He teaches
calligraphy at Anbar Calligraphers
Association and at the Al-Sadiq Middle
School. He participated in numerous
festivals and competitions such as the
Mushaf al-Sharif Writing Competition
organized by the State of Qatar.
