About Artist
Abd al-Husein al-Rikabi was born in 1964 in Dhi Qar, Iraq. He started learning calligraphy from his father and elementary school teacher, later he resumed his studies on his own. He prepared to IBM company a font in the jaly ta’liq calligraphic style, under the name of “Diwan al-Farisi”. He participated in various exhibitions and received awards in local and international competitions.
